Óscar Pérez Bovela (born 27 August 1981 in Oviedo, Asturias) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Cádiz CF on loan from Granada CF, as a midfielder (right or central).
Pérez started his professional career with hometown's Real Oviedo, but was not very successful there, playing only 14 matches with the main squad in three seasons, with the Asturias outfit consecutively dropping two levels.
He then continued his career in the second division where, in 2004–05, another relegation befell, with Córdoba CF. In late January 2006, with the Andalusians in the third level, Pérez moved to England with Bolton Wanderers,[1] but did not manage any first-team appearances.
After being released in May 2006, amongst four other players,[2] Pérez returned to Spain, signing with CD Tenerife. As the Canary Islands outfit returned to the top level after seven years, he appeared in 29 matches (although only two complete), netting twice.
In July 2009, Pérez was bought by Udinese Calcio in Italy with compatriot Iván Amaya, but both were immediately transferred to Granada CF as seven other players, after the two sides' partnership agreement. In his first season, he contributed with 16 games as the club returned to division two after an absence of more than 20 years.
In late July 2011, Pérez joined Cádiz CF from the third division, in a season-long loan.[3][4]
